After many financial trials and tribulations, Paramount has finally started production of World War Z based on the novel by Max Brooks.
Director of photography, Robert Richardson, started the filming at the Elstree studios in London.
The film will be directed by Marc Forster.
Staring in the film , Brad Pitt will take on the role as a post war United Nations agent who has the responsibility of interviewing survivors.
For those who may not have read World War Z, the novel revolves around survivors in a world infested with zombies and the personal accounts they give as they struggle to adapt. At this time, the movie is slated for a PG rating.
