Uncork’d Entertainment buys ‘Blood Moon’

BLOOD-Moon Uncork’d Entertainment has picked up North American rights to Blood Moon, a Werewolf Western, from British sales group Jinga Films according to THR.
The film, from director Jeremy Wooding, stars Shaun Dooley (Wolfblood, The Woman in Black) as a gunslinger who comes to the rescue of a stagecoach full of passengers taken hostage by bank robbers. But then the group is attacked by a group of mythical creatures known as skinwalkers.
Blood Moon is set in 19th century Colorado but shot on location in the U.K.
“It’s a fresh approach to the werewolf genre” said Keith Leopard, president of Unckork’d Entertainment, who negotiated the deal together with Jinga’s Rosana Coutinho. “It has a great mixture of creatures, guns and blood”.
