Netflix new series ‘Ghoul’

Netflix is clearly the king of streaming services. They have their finger on the pulse of what viewers want to see, and with the amount of money they’re spending on original and recurring content, there’s no wonder they have over ten million subscribers.
Recently SYFY Wire posted about another new horror series from India titled ‘Ghoul’.
The cast for Ghoul includes Radhika Apte, Manav Kaul, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Mahesh Balraj, and Mallhar Goenka.
Synopsis: Taking place at a remote military facility, the Hindi horror series centers around an interrogation that takes a turn for the supernatural. According to Netflix’s official synopsis, “the prisoner turns the tables on his interrogators, exposing their most shameful secrets. You can fight the demons of this world but what about the ones that aren’t?”
While the entirety of the show’s dialogue is spoken in Hindi (the national language of India), Ghoul is partly an American production from Blumhouse. As the trailer proudly announces, this is from the folks who delivered horror classics like Insidious and Get Out. Blumhouse partnered with Indian production company Phantom Films, which was responsible for the controversial yet well-received black comedy Udta Punjab, another notch in the show’s belt that the trailer wastes no time in mentioning.
Ghoul premiers August 24th.
