Phantom Nights: John Farris

Phantom Nights is novel set in the 1950’s in a small town in Tennessee called Night Shade. A black nurse named Mally Shaw learns of a dark secret about a politician, then is murdered to cover it up. A mute boy, Alex Gambier, befriends Mally, then has to bear witness to her brutal rape shortly before her demise. With Alex’s brother being the town sheriff, he must find a way to reveal the truth,stay alive, and then help find justice for Mally’s spirit.

Mr. Farris called “America’s premier novelist of terror” by Steven King, uses creative twists and great suspense to keep the reader on the edge of their seat, for this paranormal thriller. He is the author of over forty suspense and horror novels, and has three movies adapted from his novels.
