Decatur Book Festival 2019

The annual Decatur Book Festival will once again take place Labor Day weekend, August 31st and Sept.1st. Check out the map below. What is the Decatur Book Festival you ask?
“The DBF is FREE and open to the public. Held over Labor Day weekend each year, the festival takes place in more than a dozen venues throughout downtown Decatur. DBF is a non-profit organization. Book sales from the participating on site booksellers help to support the continued success of the festival.”

This year the Horror Writers Association (HWA)Atlanta Chapter will have a couple of tents and multiple authors signing books.  Here’s some of the events taking place at the festival per the DBF website.

Each day of the festival starts with a fun and adventure-filled children’s parade through the Decatur Square. Both parades start at the Community Bandstand on the square, wind through the street fair and end at the Children’s Stage.
